The Marketing Coordinator works with the marketing and communications team to coordinate and develop marketing materials and campaigns to support the promotion and outreach of the association’s departments, including programs, publications (free and paid), and membership.
Works collaboratively with the marketing team and internal stakeholders as a project manager to implement comprehensive marketing efforts for promoting the association’s products, programs, services, and
Develops marketing and promotional materials, including copy writing print and digital collateral (postcards, emails, social media posts, ), in consultation with departments and external vendors.
Supervises designers and printers in the development of promotional materials and other vendors in the distribution of these materials; manages print/online mailing lists and solicits/manages bids for related
Monitors the effectiveness of promotional Revises and adjusts marketing calendar based on results and feedback from internal department and recipients.
Helps develop, monitor, and report on appropriate metrics to measure success of AGB’s marketing/communications programs and overall organizational outreach
Helps monitor short- and long-term plans/budgets related to marketing and communications, preparing reports on progress and
Helps ensures the consistent communication of AGB’s brand strategy and image, both internally and
Oversees the association’s centralized marketing and communications calendar in consultation with staff across appropriate
Keep abreast of the latest developments in the higher education sector and the marketing/communications field as well as trends in nonprofit management and
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications
Minimum of two years’ experience in marketing and communications with demonstrated Background in sales, higher education, nonprofit, and/or association sector(s) a plus.
Strong project management, collaborative, analytical, and organizational
Ability to work well under pressure, to meet deadlines, and to accommodate shifting
Exceptional oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and visual
Ability to work collaboratively in formal teams and informal working groups, as well as
Strong customer-service skills, with internal and external
Proficiency in MS Office applications and Adobe Creative
Prior experience with email marketing, g., Hubspot, HTML coding, and social media platforms desirable.
